Prosper Delord was a traveling distiller and cellarman, in 1893 he began his adventure in the world of distillates because he moved with his still, from farm to farm. The purpose was to transform white wine into Armagnac, a fine and refined distillate.
In 2001, Prosper's great-grandson, Jaques, together with his children, started a collaboration with the Duffau family. One family was responsible for the selection and mixing of the product, l&' another was responsible for the promotion.
Marie Duffau, a name with an important story
Marie Duffau was the wife of a well-known distiller who started his business as a street vendor way back in 1875, and had the honor of having a &' personalized label. Marie Duffau offers a range of blends and vintages from 3 to more than 30 years, as well as vintages from 1960 to today. Armagnacs are refined distillates and the older they are, the more they express refinement and finesse, ideal to be tasted with a cigar, a chocolate dessert or an arabica blend coffee
